I've been wanting to go vintage (a.k.a ukay-ukay) shopping but just haven't had time. Work's been hectic with our Holiday Collection coming out very soon! Good thing I found this online shop that sells awesome tops and dresses! You just order online, pay at the bank across my place and ta-daaa... it gets delivered at your doorstep! :)

I got this top from her - actually came with a skirt but I prefer wearing them separately so I won't be too match-y match-y.

So I decided to wear them with my new Zara trousers. You see, I've been eyeing this pair for months now but I didn't want to spend too much. Luckily, my friend who works for the company that carries Zara Philippines brought us to the Citibank exclusive sale and tadaaa...

This pair was 50 off!!! :) And guess what's more awesome!

I was sooo excited to share it with someone that I called my younger brother to gush. He probably heard my over-excitement and offered to pay for it, said it'll be his and his gf's birthday gift for me!!!

(My birthday's 2 months away, by the way! haha!)

OH MY GOD!

Dreams do come true...

My brother who works for the Office of the Solicitor General got nominated to represent the Philippines in the WTO. He was scheduled to fly out to Geneva in April.

Bloody Eyjafjallajökull.

His flight got postponed.

A month later, he finally flew out, landed in Geneva, payed a courtesy call on the ambassador, went to H&M, did touristy stuff and flew back in to Manila after 2 days.

A couple of weeks after...

...wait for it...

He got the job!!!

He will be working under the legal arm of the WTO for a year!!!

How awesome is that??

I got a call from my mom today,

"Dai, look for cheap flights to Switzerland so we can all visit Jim and spend Christmas in Geneva."

Random thoughts

22 balikbayan boxes were delivered to the office today. My sister and I had to prepare equipments to be dispatched to the clients. And since they weren't arranged in order, we had to move the boxes, piled them up and took them down, back and forth cos the space was too cramped. It took us 7 hours to finish. It was just crazy! I know, I said I wanted my muscles back... but it was too much! And to make it worse, the guys were in the room, singing out of tune, not bothering to help us! Urgh!!!

I wanna go back to the beaach!!! :)

Something new in Hong Kong

A few years ago, Hong Kong was known as a shopping haven. We'd go there with 1 small luggage and come back with 3 filled with the cheapest clothes, shoes and gadgets. But with Hong Kong's developing economy, it's now considered one of the world's most expensive cities. So we had to think of other things to do aside from shopping!

We took the ferry to get to Lantau Island from Harbour City, climbed 268 steps up to see the World's largets outdoor Buddha.
