Something new in Hong Kong

A few years ago, Hong Kong was known as a shopping haven. We'd go there with 1 small luggage and come back with 3 filled with the cheapest clothes, shoes and gadgets. But with Hong Kong's developing economy, it's now considered one of the world's most expensive cities. So we had to think of other things to do aside from shopping!

* This is an advocacy on saying no to plastic bags.

We took the ferry to get to Lantau Island from Harbour City, climbed 268 steps up to see the World's largets outdoor Buddha.

Po Lin, Lantau Island.

and rode the cable car back to the city.

Here with a picturesque view of the whole of Hong Kong.
